White walkers, wights, Giants and more. Game of Thrones became known for its army of mythical and other worldly creatures.
The Prosthetics Department were the team behind these epic creatures, and spent hours transforming actors, applying silicone pieces and moulding faces. The Night King spent over four hours getting made-up!
The Prosthetics team also worked very closely with other departments, especially Hair and Make-up, not least to supply the steady stream of ‘blood’ for all those epic battle scenes. The series used more than 15,000 litres of it!
