Here at Game of Thrones Studio Tour, our priority is the safety of our guests and our staff.
We want to ensure that you, and all those travelling in your group, enjoy The Studio Tour safe in the knowledge that social distancing and hygiene measures are in place to protect you and other guests.
Our social distance & hygiene procedures are adopted by all our teams and we ask that guests adhere to these measures at all times. Our goal is to ensure that you have a fun, exciting and safe experience at Game of Thrones Studio Tour.
Capacity restrictions
To ensure social distancing is managed throughout The Studio Tour, restricted numbers of guests are permitted to be on location at any given time. We have implemented staggered entry times to control the flow of visitors and reduce overcrowding. This is subject to change, in accordance with government guidelines.
Travelling throughout The Studio Tour
Game of Thrones Studio Tour is self-guided to allow you to enjoy the tour at your own pace. However, a member of our Studio Tour team will always be close by to answer any questions, provide interesting bits of info and address any concerns you may have.
Various Interactives are dotted throughout the tour. The majority of our interactives are hands free to allow all our guests to enjoy the experience in safety and comfort. For interactives which require physical interaction to use, we operate a strict cleaning and maintenance regime to help ensure the health and safety of everyone.
Facemasks & Hand Sanitising
The use of face coverings is strongly recommended in all indoor settings accessible to the public across Northern Ireland. Wearing a face covering helps keep you and others safe from COVID-19. Hand sanitising points are available at the start, end and throughout The Studio Tour. Please sanitise hands regularly.
We also recommend that facemasks are worn when using our Shuttle Bus service from the Studio Tour Car Park. Enhanced cleaning will take place regularly and we encourage visitors to use the hand sanitiser provided when boarding.
Exhibits and Interactives
To help prevent the spread of infection at The Studio Tour, we ask that guests refrain from touching ANY exhibits, sets and props. But don’t worry, we promise this won’t affect the fun! There are lots of interactive experiences within the Tour which are regularly sanitised.
Eating and Drinking
Like all cast and crew on location, everyone needs to take a break now and again. Our social distancing and hygiene measures are in place at The Lobby Café and at The Studio Cafe, our seated restaurant located mid-way through the tour.
Please follow the steps below at both the Lobby Café and Studio Café:
- All orders for food and drink must be made at the touch screens, with hand sanitiser used before and after use.
- Payment for orders can be made via card only at the screens. Cash is not accepted.
- All orders should be collected at the designated collection area and brought to your table. Please note, all food will be served in disposable containers/packaging.
Only food and drink purchased at The Studio Tour can be consumed on site. Guests are permitted to bring their own reusable water bottles. Reusable bottles are also available to purchase at the Studio Tour Shop.
Studio Shop
Our world exclusive Studio Shop is located in the main Lobby and offers an impressive range of exclusive Studio Tour and Game of Thrones merchandise.
To ensure you can shop safely, limited numbers of guests will be permitted to access the Store at any given time and a one-way system is in place.
General safety & hygiene
To help ensure we all stay safe at Game of Thrones Studio Tour throughout these difficult times, here are a few more hints and tips for your visit:
- Sanitise hands regularly and practise good coughing/sneezing hygiene.
- Stay apart – maintain a safe distance from others outside of your own group at all times.
- Dispose of all rubbish in bins provided.
- Avoid touching any unprotected surface.
